In his acceptance speech, Marcos said, "My wife Michelle and I recently returned from my other home country in Central America, where we spent the summer filming the documentary TAMALE ROAD. So I want to dedicate this Emmy to our four teenage children who worked as our film crew, slugging the camera equipment through the mountains of El Salvador: Raquel, Emily Jean, José David, and Ben.
